Flowers in Bloom

Hello and welcome. Today I have a bright and cheery card to share with you. I have used another dig stamp from Polka Dot Orchard and coloured using watercolour.

I love poppies for several reasons. To me they seem so delicate and I often wonder how the flowers stand up so tall  on their thin stems. I also love them for their symbolic association with Anzac Day and the lost servicemen who died for our future. My family has a long military history so perhaps that is another reason why these flowers are special to me.

These poppies are part of the Flowers In Bloom digital bundle from Polka Dot Orchard.  I used PicMonkey to manipulate them to put two together and add the sentiment.

Once I was happy with the compilation, I then printed it on watercolor paper. I have never watercoloured an inkjet printer image before and had no idea if it it would even work. I am sure the whole street heard my screams of delight when I applied the first watercolour.

I hope you have liked this card. Please see the products used listed below.

Thanks for dropping by.
Have a great day.
Cheers,
Narelle
